the question "why they are doing this?".and answer is because they get paid +2 times to play 20-20 cricket rather than test cricket.but in this whole transaction the loss will only be of 'CRICKET'

yes,its absolutely right that cricket is a religion in india but more than that its a business in this country also,big tournament like 'IPL' indian premier leauge is a very good example of it.where cricketers from all around the world  came to this podium and perfom.not only national players,but also the domestic players of other country and of india also.so its a very good podium for all the national and domestic players.where they can get the environment of international podium.

despite of that its look like that the players of almost all countries are enjoying to play 20-20 cricket rather than test and one day.but the question is "what does indian cricket gain from the tournament like this?".the answer is "nothing" because the tournament like this are a moneymaking and a profiteer business for businessman's and the other corporate companies nothing more than that...
